It might be interesting to see what kind of machines you people are using. I was talking with a friend about some laptops, but to tell you the truth, I don’t know anything about laptops or computers. I know if they are fast or not, but technical stuff, no clue…
At this moment I am working on 1 laptop. Got it for over 2 years and am still happy with it. It is the Compaq Presario V6000. A nice medium sized laptop with all the things I need to admin my websites.
Working with Windows Vista Basic. This laptop had its best time and I am really thinking of buying the exact same one again to replace this one. I hope Compaq reads this and decides to send me a new one (use the contact page to get my address) 
Recently I got this other laptop which I will use for school purposes only. A Sony Vaio laptop.
I didn’t really use this laptop yet, because I am so used to my Compaq. I actually got this laptop because I could get it for dirt cheap. Ended up paying 80 euro for this machine while it was in store for over 700. Couldn’t let that one pass.
What do you use to admin your websites?
The viao looks brilliant! Sony machines are usually expensive, but you got a good deal there.
I use a Dell XPS M1330 for all my work and play for the last 2 years. Its pretty sweet and turns eyeballs wherever it goes.
Ah cool. A mate of mine is also using the XPS from Dell, and very happy with it performances.
The Sony is good yeah, but I am so used to the old compaq… I think I should sit on the sony for a week and see what’s best.

I prefer a desktop machine and build myself an i7 couple of months ago. Sometimes I still use a laptop as well, I have sony vaio and I like them the most. Even though the design is a bit plain, I like their keyboard. The buttons are big and comfortable. I like the screen, the specs, etc. Even though so far I’ve been removing Vista and putting XP back on, I think I will switch to Windows 7 once it hits the shelves.
To me Vista is no different than XP, can’t stand it - commercial product to boost the pc sales and make money while they are developing 7.

think its going to be the next XP…
